By landing on this page, you have already begun your journey to the ideal playground or outdoor space. We can provide you with everything you will need from shades to swings, we have it all. It might seem intimidating to get started on building your playground, but it is much simpler than you may think. We’ll take you through the steps and by the end, you’ll feel ready to place your order!
1. Budget
How much money that is available to you can be an initial determining factor in whatever you are doing. On average, a playground costs about $8,000.

If you’re just looking for a few pieces and not a large structure, it can be much less. The Playground Budget Allocation section above shows the typical breakdown of playground costs.
2. Community
Children of different ages need to have separate areas to play as they all have different ability levels. This allows for each group to be sufficiently challenged and to be able to push themselves in a safe area. You should also be aware of children with disabilities and the accomodations they may need.
3. Space
The minimum amount of space needed is 22’ x 22’ like the explorer Juan De Onate playground.
For a full playground experience, a 50’ x 50’ space is ideal.
Schools and other high-traffic areas might need several structures and freestanding events.
4. Timeline
When a project is expected to be finished, can greatly affect the amount of budget available for your actual equipment. Whenever there is a rush put on a project, it increases the cost.
On average installation can take 9 or more months to complete.
Custom structures with installations can take up to a year.
DIY Installation and Quick-Ship Structure is the fastest at within a month.
